Regata Odiana (16km) regulation
This regulation respects the National Regatta Regulation and has the following specific rules:
Art.1º – Regattas in:
- 1x Single Scull, Male and Female:
- Regata Odiana (Mixed option for couples);
- Sprint to Olival;
- 8+:
- Odiana 8+, Male, Female and Mixed;
Art.2º – Regata Odiana type: Individual or Couples;
Art.3º – he official distance is:
- 16Km for 1x Individual - Regata Odiana;
- 16Km for 8+ - Odiana 8+;
- 10km + 6km for 1x Couples - Regata Odiana;
- 500m for 1x - Olive Grove Sprint;
Art.4º - The swapping time for couples is within the time count for the regatta; Art.5º - To have a classification in a category the minimum number of tripulations is 2;
Art.6º - There will be a separate classification for Couples. The category will be defined with the age average;
Art.7º - There will be a winner per category (FISA system). The winner will receive a prize. If there is only one rower in a category he/she will row in the closest category. The handicap start will be used with the following table. The considered age for a category is the one the rower has on December 31st.

Art.8º - When starting: a rower starting outside his/her category will be disclassified; the rower starting before the signal will have a 1 minute penalty;
Art.9º - It is any tripulation's decision to opt and compete in a lower category. This decision should be mentioned when submitting the entry;
Art.10º - GUS (Grupo União Safarense) is the responsible entity for the regatta;
Art.11º - GUS will handle any omitions on this regulation.
