6km Odiana Kids Pre Programme

1^st – DATE:

• November 16^th 2019.

2^nd – PLACE:

• Guadiana, Pedrógão dam, Perdógão, Portugal;
• Start – Serpa (Zone D);
• Finish line – Pedrógão (Zone C).

3^rd – DISTANCE:

• 6000 metres.

4^th - SCHEDULE:

• 1.30pm – General briefing and deputies meeting at the tent next to the start line (Zone D);
• 2.00pm – Boarding beggins;
• 3.00pm – Regata Odiana’s start;

5^th - REGULATION:

• The regulation is available here.

6^th - ROWER CATEGORIES, BOAT TYPES, SORTING AND LINING:

• Juniors (up to J15), male and female, single scull 1x;
• Paralel start in 4 boat rows;
• There is a 3 minute gap between each row's start;
• A referee will align the starting line up rows;
• Line up boat sorting by boat number plate;
• Boat number plates are delivered at the regatta’s check-in.

7^th - AWARDS:

• Participation souvenir;
• Award for the winner on each category;
• The Award ceremony will take place at Zone C.

8^th - ENTRIES:

• Entries are done by submitting the form at the entries page on the regatta’s website;
• Entries should be submitted by November 10^th the latest;
• After this date no more submitions will be accepted;
• Each entry will only be validated upon sending a payment confirmation copy to: info@regataodiana.com;
• All athletes must be registered in their respective Federation for the current season and hold a valid sport insurance;
• 60 boats is the maximum number for this year’s edition.

9^th - CHECK-IN:

• Check-in should be done until 10am on November 16^th at Zone A;
• The following starter pack shall be delivered when checking in:
• Boat number;
• Event programme;
• Regatta's pre programme and regulation;
• Course map marking floaters and reference.
• Waivers up until the deputies meeting.

10^th – BOARDING, LANDING AND BOAT PARKING:

• Boarding and boat parking happens at Zone D;
• The regatta’s landing will be at Zone C;
• For training and course recognition purposes both Zone D and C can be used for boarding and landing;

11^th – DEPUTIES MEETING:

• Will be held on the November 16^th at 1.30pm at the Zone D tent;
• Information and decisions related to the regatta will be provided at the meeting.

12^th – MEDICAL AND RESCUING SERVICE:

• Ambulance stationed at Zone C;
• Safety boats in the water.

13^th – ACCIDENTS:

• The organization is not responsible for any material damage caused by an accident;
• Each club/participant should have their material insured.
